Traveling, Living Abroad, Sharing Useful Tips and Guides

Hey! We’re the Globonautas—a couple who met thanks to travel and have been exploring the world together ever since. Over the past few years, we’ve lived in Costa Rica, Italy, Spain, and now Poland—first in Warsaw, and currently based in Kraków.

Wherever we go, we try to experience places deeply: not just checking off tourist spots, but getting to know the rhythm of daily life, trying the food, and finding the places locals go.

That’s what inspired us to create our blog: Globonautas

How it all started

Travel literally changed our lives. Ignacio came to Europe with a three-month backpacking plan… and never went back. We met in Poland, and just like that, he stayed. Since then, we’ve been traveling together—across countries, cultures, and now through the pages of our blog.

At first, it was just a digital travel diary. A place to save memories. But the more we traveled, the more we realized how often we stumbled onto places that no one had mentioned—or worse, places that looked amazing online but were a total letdown in real life.

So we started writing the kind of travel guides we wish we had: honest, practical, and full of those little things that make a big difference.

Exploring Poland, One Place at a Time

These days, most of our focus is on Poland—our home base and a country that keeps surprising us in the best ways.

What makes us different

We write the way we’d talk to a friend—honestly, casually, and with the kind of tips we wish someone had told us.

No fluff. No hype. Just real stories, helpful advice, and a whole lot of curiosity.

Let’s travel together

Whether you’re planning a trip to Poland, just moved here and need a little help getting around, or are curious about what places to add to your bucket list—we’ve got you. From charming cities and scenic hikes to everyday tips that make life easier, we’re here to help you explore Poland with confidence (and a bit of curiosity).
